All prices reflect the out of pocket cost to you after the Medicare rebate has been applied. The total cost of the consult may vary significantly due to the length of consultation and the procedures performed. Please note that Medicare rebate in most cases will be available in your bank account within 24 hours. If you do not have a valid Medicare card the full fee is payable. We ask that you go to North Ringwood Medical Centre for payment, alternatively you can pay over the phone with your credit card after your appointment.

Skin Cancer Checks
You will be seen by one of our specialised skin cancer doctors who will examine you head to toe with assistance of a dermatoscope - a specialised microscope used for detection of skin cancers. You may have a biopsy on the same day of any suspicious spots.

Pensioner $70 out of pocket
Biopsy
You may require a biopsy to help diagnose skin cancer. This may be either a punch or shave biopsy done under local anaesthetic. It is sent for examination by a pathologist and your doctor will advise if further action is needed

Skin Cancer Surgery
Skin cancer surgery is performed within the treatment room of our clinic. We use local anaesthetic and high quality materials for our surgery. Size and complexity for procedures vary significantly and fees will be discussed with you prior.
